Within the confines of this little cyber-world, you will encounter mind boggling facts (doubtful), side splitting humor (more doubtful), artifacts of great historical significance (we have a lot of old family photos to bore you with), and maybe you will even come across some genuine German/Canadian stuff

(Got your curiosity up, eh?!?)

Of the nine in this family, I am the Canadian. I am out numbered 9 to 1 by Americans. The odds are still in my favor. I am after all, "The Father." Join me on our wonderful journey.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

We will be enjoying this wonderful day with our family (that is still here in Alturas) and some friends at my parents' beautiful home. Grace and Markie are over there now helping Grandmama get everything prepared. I am sure it will be all decorated in lovely fall colors as usual. Grace loves to arrange decorations, as does her Grandmother, so she is in her element. Markie just loves to "fly all over" and help wherever she is needed.

Daddy is working on a project and Peter is sweetly walking a fussy Emma around in her stroller.
Sarah is making an apple pie and a pecan pie right now (and singing an original composition entitled, "I love Thanksgiving!" Don't ask her to repeat it - she can't) She is using non- hydrogenated palm oil for the crust. We love how the pies turn out with this oil.

Kitty is making some good ole' green bean casserole and Rose and I are making rolls.

May God bless all of you dear citizens of our heavenly country on this sacred day. May we remember to be TRULY thankful.

We had such a GREAT day. Hopefully we will have many more like it :) Thank the Lord we live in this wonderful country. May we all do our part to bring her back to the country God and our Founders intended.

Happy Thanksgiving to you all too! It WAS a great day (except for the fact that Emma was sick).

I really appreciated the bit of history Daddy shared and do thank God for blessing us by allowing us to live in this country.

Love,
Beth
