Today after church, Callie and Mary joined Grace and me (Kitty) here at the house. Sewing, enjoying a few cookies, and watching Pride and Prejudice together, we couldn't help but pull the camera out. :) And what better thing to do with pictures than post them on a blog? :) :) So....enjoy..... :)

Apparently, Mary does as well. :)
Hmmm.....What treasures does this
mysterious trunk contain???
...And Costumes...
(You knew that was coming! :)
Grace has taken to designing the dresses we sew...we haven't actually sewn any of them yet, but actions start with dreams....dreams....more dreams....will they ever be anything but dreams??? :)
My first sewing accomplishment made without a pattern.I haven't done a whole lot of sewing up til now, so I am RIDICULOUSLY pleased with myself. :) :) :)

I LOVE that movie! And your photos . . . you are all really creative.
Y'all are NUTS! And all that time, poor Sarah and I were sewing and perming, sewing and perming. And you didn't save us a cookie!
Ah . . . well . . . (to quote a Canadian named Erwin).
Love,
Grandmother

How fun that looks! Great costume designs as well!
Our church family back North did a Pride and Prejudice play with us before we moved - so we quote it so often! We love that movie :-D
"Let us not say farewell, but as the French say it, Au Revoire!"

To my comrades who also love P&P, yes, our family goes around quoting it quite often!
It is one of my favorite movies, and I have watched it (and read the book!) over and over and over again. :) :)
Angie--yes, Grace had fun taking a moment to get her "costume" together, though I doubt it was what Jane Austen had in mind when she wrote the book!. :) We have often talked of doing it as a play--we have even got the cast picked out--but we never seem to pull it all together. Maybe someday we will actually get some real costumes together and do it! :) :)
And to those of you who noted our seeming insanity and kindly called it "fun" (grandmama hit the nail on the head) we were enjoying ourselves immensly, and "have no other apology to offer" :-P
Tkanks for reading, ya'll! :)
