Within the confines of this little cyber-world, you will encounter mind boggling facts (doubtful), side splitting humor (more doubtful), artifacts of great historical significance (we have a lot of old family photos to bore you with), and maybe you will even come across some genuine German/Canadian stuff

(Got your curiosity up, eh?!?)

Of the nine in this family, I am the Canadian. I am out numbered 9 to 1 by Americans. The odds are still in my favor. I am after all, "The Father." Join me on our wonderful journey.

Gathering Eggs

The other day Emma Jane helped Sarah gather eggs.

"Oh great ... Here they come again..."

"What are YOU looking at?"

"REFLECTIONS of a chicken..."

"What about MY multigenerational vision?"

"These people don't seem to care about MY 200 year plan at all."

"They tried to hide their eggs from me..."

"But I found 'em!"

Scrambled eggs anybody?

Putting them all away

This is not only a sweet look into the day of a darling little girl, but funny, funny, funny! Sorry, little hens -- I don't think I'm too worried about your 200 year plan! Gimme those good, home-grown eggs!

I get the idea the photography is the work of Sarah Beth, consumed with her favorite subject and baby sister.

Love it! Thanks, Beth

What a cute post! I love the captions! :)

Emma looks so much older with her hair worn in braids. :)

~Sarah,
Aren't those chickens Rhode Island Reds and then one picture of a Columbian Wyandotte? How do you like the Wyandottes? I'm curious because Nathan and I just ordered more Reds, the C. Wyandottes, leghorns, and Austrolorps. :)

Love in Christ,
Mallory

Oh, cute, cute, cute! What more can you say?? And funny comments as well. Great photography, Sarah! Yes, her favorite subject is Emma as our girls' favorite subject is Wills. The chicken is question looks like a Light Brahma to me.
Beautiful eggs!!
Love,
Molly

Oh, what cute pictures of Emma! Looks like she really enjoys gathering the eggs like Savannah does with grandaddy. I love the pig tails too!

I never knew someone could make braids that small! Emma looks like she loves her egg collecting job; I think all little ones love to collect eggs!

I guess she's getting as much attention as she can now. After all she is the "old baby". ;)
