Within the confines of this little cyber-world, you will encounter mind boggling facts (doubtful), side splitting humor (more doubtful), artifacts of great historical significance (we have a lot of old family photos to bore you with), and maybe you will even come across some genuine German/Canadian stuff

(Got your curiosity up, eh?!?)

Of the nine in this family, I am the Canadian. I am out numbered 9 to 1 by Americans. The odds are still in my favor. I am after all, "The Father." Join me on our wonderful journey.

A Medieval Merrymaking

MERRYMAKINGS!

Deep within the ancient lands of "Frodge Manor", preparations were in the final stages, the Medeival feast was almost complete! Upon the thirtieth day of the eleventh month, a group of ladies would be transported through time to "days of long ago"... there would be found games, merrymakings, and enjoyable dainties on every hand! All in honor of the lady Virginia upon her attianment of her 16th year.

Beth,

What a beautiful party with great ideas! The dresses looked wonderful. Where did you get the pewter cups? Something you had on hand? I liked those wooden blocks for the cheese, too. It looked really good. And the prizes for the archery contest was really cute. :)

I should probably consult your daughter as to how we should have our big day. It looks as if she really studied it out!

Do you let each of your children study a subject that interests them or do you have a planned course of study?

Thanks for sending me the link to Grace's party. Good inspiration.
