Markie does her demonstration on Cats... She did a great job. Markie has been learning all about cats and with the supervision of Uncle Hans has even created a website about them for competition. http://www.markie.thedischerfamily.com/

Markie brought our cats to the meeting as part of her demonstration. You bet that was fun...We all know how sociable cats are.

Kitty and RG so a talk about reenacting in Civil War reenactments. (Umm...Is he yodeling?)

From the color of Kitty's face, this must be about when RG referenced the "big event" at the most recent reenactment!

Sarah and Grace, the ever vigilant Jamestown re-educators, gave a talk on our wonderful experience in "the Jamestown 400 Hunt", in which we participated in a treasure hunt for gold (and came very close to finding it!) and came away with a much more valuable treasure...the revelation of God's amazing providence in the founding of our country!

Life...

Fresh lemons make fresh lemonade!

A staple this time of year...we are so thankful for fresh picked citrus!

It does get cold in Florida! (especially in our old house) We love to use our fireplace

AN OLD TIME CANE SQUEEZIN'

Every year one of Grandaddy Frodge's contractor friends has an old time cane syrup making event. They pick the sugar cane, grind it with an "iron mule", to squeeze the juice out of it, then they boil it down to syrup, which takes about 6 hours.

This year they asked the Frodge clan (and friends) to come and asked the children to play some bluegrass...so we did! It was a great experience!

Afterwards we took a picnic to a local state park

"FROM SAND TO SOD"!!!
For Christmas Uncle Hans gave our family the gift of sod...installed! What a blessing it has been! In Florida sand tends to be abundant and well... it was...in the house...in the yard...in the tub....you get the picture.

Now we have sod!!! What a transformation! THANK YOU UNCLE HANS!!!

The Providential Hand of God...

THE COURTSHIP HAS BEEN CALLED OFF DUE TO A NUMBER OF REASONS BUT WE STILL HOLD THE POLLOCK FAMILY DEAR TO OUR HEARTS AND WE THINK A LOT OF GABRIEL. HE IS A GODLY YOUNG MAN WHO WE ARE HONORED TO KNOW.

Our Father's faithful Providential hand, which ever governs our lives, has once again bestowed unbounded blessings upon us!

After years of praying for our children's future spouses, wherever they might be in this world, with the knowledge that they were chosen before the foundation of the world to be forever linked with our family, how precious it is to now begin the journey and really get to know the one whom we trust we eventually become Kitty's husband.

We are so very thrilled and honored to have Gabriel Pollock court our daughter, Kitty. We have felt for some time that he was the one for her. 7 months ago he asked our permission to court her, and after a time of prayer and evaluation, "The Father" agreed.

Gabriel's character, boldness for Christ, work ethic, and vision for the future give us every confidence that he will lead Kitty into all that God has destined for her to accomplish for HIS kingdom!

He asked her if he could court her on her birthday in a very romantic environment, especially for 2 history fanatics, at the Brooksville Raid Civil War Reenactment! Needless to say, she was not expecting that question right at that moment, so she was very surprised and happy! After knowing that he had already spoken with "The Father", she immediately said, yes.

We praise the Lord for opening this new, exciting chapter in our lives, and we thank you, Mr. and Mrs. Pollock, for faithfully raising such a fine young man for our Kitty.
