Disney
A little over a year ago, "The Father"
finished some drywall on a relative's house. As a thank you , she gave our family tickets to Disney World. We saved them for this year, since Emma would enjoy it more. We decided to go at Christmas time in order to enjoy the beautiful Candlelight Processional that is performed annually 3 times per night at Epcot for the month of December.

We were so thrilled to hear the beautiful CHRIST honoring traditional Christmas carols performed in such a magnificient manner! Also, we delighted in hearing God's precious Word being read as Our Lord Jesus' birth was proclaimed. We know that those who were reading and singing were very probably not fully appreciating the preciousness of the message, but truly the Gospel was declared! We prayed, as we listened to the stirring Hallelujah Chorus, that those around us would come to know personally our Wonderful, Counsellor, the Mighty God, the Everlasting Father, and the Prince of Peace!
Editor's note: This incident should be categorized under the classification primadonna bambino. Commonly known as youngest child in a large family syndrome ... As many of you know, too much adoration from older siblings brings on this disorder. She has since been dethroned and humbly knows her place. It is Princess Emma's reign now. (As is evident in the next picture)
All of the staff at Epcot's "Countries" are from that particular country. Mr. Discher enjoyed speaking German with the waitress.
Sarah and Grace are in Italy!
Kitty - with her beloved Nutcracker...she used to sleep with one every night when she was little.
The crew in front of the giant Gingerbread House!
820 POUNDS OF SUGAR!!!
Ready to head for home after a great day
ICE SKATING

During this Christmas season we were able to go ice skating twice
Woops wrong caption... or maybe not?
WE only had 817 pounds of sugar!
Big Cousin Matt and little cousin Markie
Despite their bravado, they didn't really look all that cool out on the ice. Those thin, shaky, blades have an amazing way of making us all look well, not all that cool.
(Notice the wet skirts?)
Li'l cousins havin' fun together

Soooo...who's helping who?
"Hi! My name's Markie and I am part of the wet skirt brigade!"

What a wonderful update, Dischers! We all know Rosie is still the princess, although Emma may have been promoted to queen! And the sugar quantities may have been calculated too low! You all look like you have a sugar IV flowing on the ice! Thanks for sharing so much fun with us -- and we know you were wonderful testimonies to the Lord, too.
Thank you, thank you, thank you, for all the great pix and the captions are sooo funny. Looks like a wonderful time you have had with all your Christmas events!! We enjoyed doing some of them with you. Thanks for the great memories that were made!!
