Within the confines of this little cyber-world, you will encounter mind boggling facts (doubtful), side splitting humor (more doubtful), artifacts of great historical significance (we have a lot of old family photos to bore you with), and maybe you will even come across some genuine German/Canadian stuff

(Got your curiosity up, eh?!?)

Of the nine in this family, I am the Canadian. I am out numbered 9 to 1 by Americans. The odds are still in my favor. I am after all, "The Father." Join me on our wonderful journey.

The annual trip

Well, last year it was a trip to Jamestown and this year we took a trip to
Branson, by way of Charlotte. "What?" you say, "...don't you realize these cities are in completely opposite directions?" Well...

Let me tell you 'bout a story of a man named Ed
Poor Canadian barely kept his family fed
Then one day came an opportuniTY
And next thing ya' know they made a DVD

Audition ya' know
Expense paid trip
Swimmin' Pools and
Free meals

So, the kids played some songs and gave a great big smile
Time passed by and in a li'l while
The announcement came to come to the city
So they all packed up and left for Greenboreee (I know it's pitiful)

Well, I don't know about ya'll but this here dorky song's gettin' kinder old, as is this dorky way of spellin' Kountry words, so I'll jest keep it short an' sweet. (help! I can't stop a-typin' this way!)

The kids sent in a DVD of their bluegrass music back in March of '07 and won an expense paid trip to Greensboro! We were really excited because this also meant we could visit all of our sweet relatives in Charlotte. We found out later that the Answers in Genesis Conference in Branson started the same day they were scheduled to play, but, well, we dealt with it.

The picture for their "Bio"

So off we went - all of us - all really close together - with lots of stuff

I just love it! Of course, we shared the Branson-to-home part of the trip with you, but not the Greensboree part. We love seeing it all on the blog -- you always have such nice pictures ... and of course such creative captions!

Keep 'em coming. I promise to get right onto "the Saga . . . part 2" asap, too.

Love Grandmother Frodge
