The Discher family is in for some changes in the near future. A lot of our "local" friends and family know the news already, but we thought it would be fun to play a guessing game for whoever may be reading our blog out there, but hasn't heard the news!
Any guesses?
Within the confines of this little cyber-world, you will encounter mind boggling facts (doubtful), side splitting humor (more doubtful), artifacts of great historical significance (we have a lot of old family photos to bore you with), and maybe you will even come across some genuine German/Canadian stuff
(Got your curiosity up, eh?!?)
Of the nine in this family, I am the Canadian. I am out numbered 9 to 1 by Americans. The odds are still in my favor. I am after all, "The Father." Join me on our wonderful journey.

I really have no idea but it sounds like it's good.
Well, since I KNOW what it is, I won't be playing in this game!!!!

I already know, too...your secret is safe with us!!!
Tracy
Are you moving? Or is it a new addition to the family? Those are my guesses.
Andrew
Hmmm, let me think...the Discher family is "in for some changes". Whatever could that mean? Are you buying a coin changing business? No, that can't be it. Are the Dischers changing citizenship to Canada? Surely not that! What other changes could they be referring to?
Change: Noun, loose coins in the pocket. Nah, that's the wrong kind of change.
Change: Verb, to turn from one thing to another, as in "Could I please change back to U.S. citizenship. I think I made the wrong choice." (I think I'm funny)
Change: Verb, To replace one thing with another. Well, do you have something that will need to be changed? Something that will need to be changed quite often? So often that if not changed, everyone (especially boys) will
make "comments" about the need for change?
The Need For Change sounds terribly familiar! Wait, wait, I've got it!You're all going to help a certain candidate win this election by showing the world how much we all "need to change".
(Change from what to what? That's not important! Just change, you got it?)
Well, I hope I didn't give away your secret with my foolishness!
Love,
Katie
I'll guess a new family member. Can't wait to find out, though!

Why don't you just say what it is? its not like I come on here to see your blog very much, I guess I'll never know... ~KJ
An addition to the family by way of marriage (Pete finally gets a brother!)?
Change of addres? You sold the house and are moving to Missouri?
Or Emma Jane isn't going to be the baby of the family any more?
We are dying to know!!!!
You all are definitely having fun with this!
Katie, nice to see your wit hasn't withered away in that Arkansas heat:)
Love,
Mama (again) Discher
