Reporting from the Twilight zone... Oh, pardon me. I was just informed we have not gone
that far yet. Well, the Discher Household then. It has been 3 days since we opened up the deep, dark dealings of the Discher House unto the public, so I will now fill you in on all those (not so) deep, dark dealings.
On Friday, the 6th, Mama and Grace went to the bi-weekly fresh, organic milk pickup, and then stopped by the library (biiiig smile, people) to drop off and pick up books etc. We then exhibited multi-generational fellowship (halos, please) by inviting our grandparents, the Frodges, over for games and dessert. We played Cranium and ate Icecream and Cowboy Cookies. Needless to say, it was a thoroughly enjoyable evening.
Well, Saturday we slept in (Aaaaaaaaaahhh...) and then split up our forces between the yard and Papa's workshop he has been making. We finished up the day watching Johnny Tremain and eating strawberry pie.
Today, surprise surprise, we had church at Grandmama and Grandaddy's house. All of the cousins attempted to put into use one of the principles we had gained from the Uniting Church and Family Conference in MO - we had listened to Alexander Strauch, I think, speak on hospitality, and he had said that it is BIBLICAL to have potlucks (or whatever the ancient hebrew for that was) with all the church families after church. We even found his sermon on a CD and stuck it in and played it really loud, but.... Unfortunately the adults did not take the bait, so we had to retreat to the cars. Ah well.
Nevertheless, we had a good lunch and are now discussing which political party Kitty should register to vote with. Both she and Sarah will be voting in 2008, and as the Republicans have rather gone downhill, Kitty and Sarah will, in all probability, not be voting GOP. To the best of my knowledge, she (Kitty) has resolved upon the Constitutional Party.
Well, Mama, Kitty and I are going to the store, so this is Grace, signing off from the Tw-Discher House

Mmmmm, that strawberry pie (that
we missed out on) sure looks delightful!! Can we have a raincheck with another pie, please!?!? Good choice for
the Constitutional party, Kitty.
We agree with you 100%. Welcome
to the club (the people that can
think out of the box).
Love you all,
Dew Dad and Java Momma
Kitty, I have commented!! Love the pictures (umm, there is an old lady that somehow snuck into your family photos -- don't you want to get her outta there??)
BTW, I can't get the poll to process for me. It stubbornly says, "Cannot process". But I did get up before 7 this morning, in case you are interested.
Oh... and you have to have a Poll, on the day I decide to sleep in. I guess thats what I get:(
I love the picture of the bare baby. It's very cute:)

Good pics though, we'll have to do a Doug Phillips/Alexander Strauch doble smack down next time, and mebbe it'll work, and we can eat at granmama's. Mrs. Pollock, I'll probably be calling y'all sometime soon to see if I can get some contacts for the Constitutional Party, I have been planning on joining up for about 2 years now, just got to wait on that pesky thing called age.

The poll was not working for a bit.. I don't know what happened. :/ No! We like the "old lady" in the family photos! She is right where she belongs. :)
Liv-
Yep, that is what you get. Next time we will give you an advance warning. ;)
RG-
Yeah, the guy in the bolo tie and cowboy hat is ok. He thinks way too much of himself though!! ;)
