This weekend was a great time. On Saturday we went to our wonderful friends the Pollock's house for Gabriel's 18th birthday party - fun...fun...fun!!! Then on Sunday, our little home (family) church celebrated the 4th of July by singing some soul-stirring patriotic numbers. Granddaddy Frodge read the poem, "The black regiment", about the black robed preachers of the Revolutionary war who wore their uniforms under their robes! It was very inspiring. Then "The Father" read Elias Boudinot's July 4th oration in its entirety. He did a great job, and amazingly, the oration was very applicable to today! After church we hung around and the Grandparents kindly treated everyone to subs. "The Father", Sarah, and Pete worked on the workshop.

Well r.g., I would like to clarify this from the start. This blog is a family event and nothing gets posted without Mama's or my oversight. So, this is a closely guarded venture and does not compromise my earlier concerns or cautions. Besides, do you not read Grandmama's blog. I have given her permission months ago to post pictures and she uses discernment and wisdom in posting on her blog.
