G.G.P. Discher II arrived at 10:59 this evening! I did his initials, since (I'm not really ashamed to say since everyone knows I'm a horrible speller!) I can not spell his authentic German name correctly. :)
He is a strong, healthy 8 lb's 10 oz's baby, red, round face, and seems to be a very content baby, though very hungry (he's a boy - what did we all expect?)
The labor was, while of course not easy in any sense of the word, a fairly quick and easy one for Mama - only about 5 hours. She greatly appreciated the prayers and encouragement of all of you out there!
Most of us kids just got home, while circumstances again allowed Grace to be the blessed one to stay behind with Mama, Daddy, and Paul to finish everything up. Mama wanted to keep the camera, so I am sorry I won't post pictures right now (Not that anyone would actually look at them at 2:30 AM, but....) Gmama already has some pictures up (she works fast - isn't she great??) Instead of downloading them from her blog, and then uploading them to ours, I'm just going to take the lazy way out, ride on her coat tails, and send yall to her blog for a few pictures. :) (http://clearlyseenfamily.blogspot.com/)
Since I can not post pictures, I shall go fall into bed. At this point, I think I could sleep on a rock (and I didn't even go through the labor....?)
Pictures coming soon!!! (and I don't mean maybe....!)
Praise God, from Whom all blessings flow;
Praise Him, all creatures here below;
Praise Him above, ye heavenly host;
Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
Amen!
He giveth power to the faint; and to [them that have] no might he increaseth strength.
Isaiah 40:29
Happy [is] the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.
Psalm 127:5

Your right. nobody in their right mind would have been up looking at their nephew's pictures online at 2:30 in the morning. That's why I waited until 2:41 to have a peek :)
Thanks for directing to your Grandmother's blog, Kitty. My, I forgot how tiring becoming an uncle is!
Ich mochte dich mit einem freundlichen Lächeln begrüßen, Gerhard Gustav Paul :)
And with that happy note Zzzzzzzzzzzzz
Congratulations you guys! How wonderful! Now if your family is anything like ours, little Paul will almost never be without someone holding him. Right? :-)

What a wonderful miracle birth is! I was glad to get some initial pictures up, but believe me, the real pictures will come when these paparazzi sisters get theirs uploaded! It is a very precious thing to be present when God performs His wonderful miracle of birth! Thank you, Lord.
Grandmother

So sorry about miss spelling his name. I just was reading the comments today and realized my mistake. ;)
