Within the confines of this little cyber-world, you will encounter mind boggling facts (doubtful), side splitting humor (more doubtful), artifacts of great historical significance (we have a lot of old family photos to bore you with), and maybe you will even come across some genuine German/Canadian stuff

(Got your curiosity up, eh?!?)

Of the nine in this family, I am the Canadian. I am out numbered 9 to 1 by Americans. The odds are still in my favor. I am after all, "The Father." Join me on our wonderful journey.

~~~~~~~~~~~
AT THE BIRTH CENTER
~~~~~~~~~~~
Waiting for something to happen
Emma feeding "Baby Paul"
I always love looking at all the baby pictures!
Grace finally having some supper
Peter figured he may as well grab some sleep.
Emma practicing, diaper in hand!
(Note the position of the poor baby!)
~~~~~~~~~~~~
THE SUPPORT TEAMS ARRIVE
~~~~~~~~~~~
"We're, like, SOOO excited! He's, like, coming out tonight!"
Peek a boo!
Willie kept wanting to see "Aunt Beff's Baby!"
Constantly battling the enemy of his family, he reads the Word and prays for the mother and child.
Daddy is always there.
Mama calls him her "Rock"
Whispering encouragement, singing hymns and spiritual songs, and quoting scripture.
Grandmama of grandbaby #23 reads the word and cheers Mama on
A sweet, supportive sister.
~~~~~~~~~~~
A NEW EXPERIENCE
~~~~~~~~~~~
Tears of joy and relief!
Markie had seen Emma's birth, but this was Rose's first.
Emma's first glance at "Pauw"
She is so happy to have a little brother! Last night she demanded that we "Put him down. We're going to play!"
~~~~~~~~~~
WELCOME TO THE WORLD!
~~~~~~~~~~~

Welcome, Little One!
Baby Paul was born completely "in his sac". Mama's water never broke! A very rare occurance!
Peter cuts the cord.
After each and every of the 17 Frodge Baby births in that room, Gdaddy has led us in the Doxology and a prayer of thanksgiving and praise.
Needless to say - at this point the little celebrity wasn't very happy!
Sarah (the fortunate gal!!!) got to dress him. It was very sweet, and Emma insisted on "helping".
She was just so overwhelmed!
~~~~~~~~~~
AND HE FELT LIKE A YO-YO....
~~~~~~~~~~~

Mama and Daddy with their new son
Peter was, of course, the first of us kids to hold him!
The Slave Section.
Prince #2 has arrived, and Prince #1 will have to share his slaves.
(As I'm typing this, I hear Peter say to Grace in a jovial, joking manner however serious he truly is, "What kind of service is that???")
"Can we hold him???"
Gmama and Gdaddy hold their newest and cutest grandson.
(Sorry RG - you just lost the title. :-P)
Mama, Aunt Molly, and Will with Gerhard Gustav Paul II
Next, Grace got to hold the little bundle
Then Sarah adored the squirming, grunting precious mass of humanity
And finally I get to cuddle him.
(Somehow, despite the fact that I'm the oldest, I was the last of us older 4 who got to hold him!?!?!?!)
Emma kissing him (again!)
Markie, a sweet little mother-in-the-making.
She knows how to whisper to the little fellow!
Rose, absolutely delighted!
Emma holding him for the first time, with Big Brother's help.
Happy, Happy, Happy!
Love and awe wrapped into one adoring look.
Paul, let it be known - our family loves to laugh!!!
Papa and his long-awaited son.
After waiting for 16 years, they finally meet!
Paul getting his first lullabies and hymns.
Think he'll be spoiled???
Sweet Mama and her lil' darlin' - 4 hours old.
Home at last

Awww!!!!!!! He's so cute!!! I know you all love him to pieces. :) Kitty, I know exactly how you feel! I, the oldest, was the last of the 6 of us to hold my baby brother too! Praise the Lord everything went well and Mom and baby Paul are doing well. Aren't babies such a blessing? When I look at our little Samuel, see him smile at me... How on earth could anyone dare to even think of that little, blessed life is insignificant?

God is so good, isn't he?!? How I wish I had been able to see Samuel born...I went with them for the purpose, but my mom ended up having to have a c-section. (Praise the Lord they have that technology, he probably wouldn't have made it without it.) I still cried when I saw him, though. :)

God bless little Paul and your whole family. I know you're just thrilled!!!!!! :)

You are so blessed! Children in the latter years are a special blessing and comfort, that God has still chosen to bless the family with one more eternal soul!

Paul was born on our Grandpa's birthday - so we won't forget!

Thank you for sharing the pictures! How amazing to see a happy extended family rejoicing together.

What an exciting time for everyone. We're so happy for everyone and glad that the castor oil worked since you actually went ahead and took the dreaded stuff.

The pictures were fun to look at too.

God bless your whole family,

Elisabeth
