IF THERE WAS HOPE AT YORKTOWN,
THERE IS HOPE TODAY!
Thanks be to God for the Declaration of Independence - the statement of our freedom, for the vctory at Yorktown, and for 233 years of relative freedom since!Though there was not much support throughout the colonies during the war, with less than half the population in sympathy with the Patriots, and out of those, only a small percentage actually fighting, with God's help and through His mercy He brought us through the years of struggle and provided us with the victory.
May those of us with the same principles and love of freedom today be ready and willing to sacrifce with the Lords' help to preserve what the Lord gave us 233 years ago! May He once again give us a "Day the World Turned Upside Down!"

But when a long Train of Abuses and Usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object, evinces a Design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their Right, it is their Duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future Security.

Happy Independence Day, y'all!!!!! We just got through listening to the Boston Pops and watching the fireworks in Boston! It was great, but I am thouroughly ready to come HOME! Iv'e never seen so many people in one place at one time!!!!
Hope y'all have a good 4th of July without us. (sniff, sniff...)
