What a blessed Christmas season our family had this year. We determined to keep things simple by limiting gifts and taking the time to do things together as a family. We were able to focus on the birth of our Lord and the blessed grace that our Father extended toward us in sending His Son in the likeness of sinful flesh.
Thank you, Everlasting Father for your lovingkindess which is truly better than life!
Christmas Caroling!
One evening after church, most of our church family packed up instruments, cookies (VERY important!), hot chocolate and apple cider and headed out to do some Christmas caroling!
Uncle Chris, being the good sport that he is, outfitted a trailer with hay!
Everyone caravanned (is that a word?) to the rendezvous point - a parking lot.
We arrived and everyone loaded into the trailer!
The 2 mandolin players
"SMILE!"
"What chord is that?"
Our faithful guitar player...
Definitely a Florida Christmas!
"Are those lights...or targets?"
Poor Mr. Waldman was sitting in the wrong place! He got to be the official hot chocolate/apple cider/water pourer!
Now the boys come alive..it's snack time!
The night was fairly chilly, so the warm drinks were nice!
Callie looks either really chilly or really excited to get that cookie!
"ALL GONE"
"ALL GONE"
Back to the parking lot.
It's time to load up...or maybe it's time for a wrestling match!
(Hey! ANYtime is a good time for a wrestling match!)
Sweet Baby Isaac all dressed up for Christmas!
Happy Carolers!
More Happy Carolers!
Here is a video of some of the caroling - starting with the caravanning (there's that word again!)
It's pretty dark, AND you can hear a certain video-taping alto far too well - oh well!
Just remember, we sure aren't professionals, but we sure had fun!

Looks like so much fun? Yes, I'll second the question...where did you go? It looked like it may have been Bartow. Am I correct?
Love,

Oops! There is supposed to be an exclamation point after one of the sentences above. Let me try again...
"Looks like so much fun!!!!"

Oh, what a wonderful time! We missed being there so much (the Grandfather and I both had {have} knee problems right now). Yes, Katie, I believe it was in Bartow. And the voices and instruments were all "ours". I know the listeners were blessed, as I was.
Grandmother
