Well, since it's almost a month since Thanksgiving, I think it's finally time to post our pretty little Thanksgiving pictures.
We were going to just back date them to Thanksgiving Day and post them for our own benefit. (After all, a "Blog" is really a web log for our family). Well, then the Stricklens posted THEIR Thanksgiving pictures, so we didn't want to be chicken and post ours in a deceitful back-dated fashion, as if we had been on top of things all along, so here we are...a week from Christmas...posting pictures from our lovely Thanksgiving Day, which by the way was held on Thanksgiving Day lest you be confused.
Mama
The Baked
The Bakers
Fellowship
Some talked by the fire
Some sang traditional Thanksgiving Hymns
Some served by playing instruments
Some laughed
(some slept - like the little sickie, Emma Jane)
And then we ate...and ate!
Grandaddy shared with us the story of the first Thanksgiving....of the hardships...and God's Providence
Grace read the poem Five Kernels of Corn
We reflected on the difficult first year that the pilgrims endured
We are truly Thankful

Boy, some people are so dis-organized and behind...maybe y'all could learn a few hints from our family on how to post in a more timely fashion. (HAHA)
The tables were absolutely beautiful, and the food on the tables looked just as good.
Sounds like y'all had a wonderful day, wish we could have been there!
Love,
Katie
