- The Father chose me before the foundation of the world to be a part of His family
(Lord, please remind me hourly of this privilege)
- I was born in America, and not...say...the Sudan
(Why, Lord, was I spared when so many precious, precious brethren were not?)
- My children have pure hearts and truly desire to serve the King of Kings
(Despite our imperfect parenting)
- After 21 years of marriage, my husband tells me I am beautiful every day.
(And he is more handsome than ever!!!)
- I was born into a godly family with a godly heritage
(To much is given, much is required. That thought is awe-inspiring)
- My sisters are my best friends.
(Nobody can read your mind like your sister!)
- My mother is my best friend.
(Nobody knows you like your mother...and still loves you!)
Sometimes it is good to just be thankful and remember what really matters in the light of eternity. Thank you, Everlasting Father, for your many blessings. Unworthy as we are, you are faithful.
"As for God, His way is perfect!"

Beth, what a thoughtful post! And I am so thankful that my children are my best friends (along with their father, of course!). God has been so good to us.
I love your new blog design! So who was the creative force behind that? They can come do something at mine -- which hasn't changed a stick since opening!
Your Mother
Thank you Beth!
I read this post awhile back and found myself quoting it!
Truly no one can read you like your sisters and no one knows you like your mother!
