Well, we thought we'd post some more pictures of....guess what? Yes..that's right...yard work! It's coming along nicely. Uncle Hans would be proud. (Life really has slowed down, Uncle Hans...thanks to the gas prices) These were from last Saturday and we worked on the yard more today, but much to our readers' dismay or possibly much to their delight, we did not take pictures.

We really baby our plants. Here Grace and Peter are taking them on their daily walk. ha ha
Markie relaxes after working hard - another "creative" picture
Here, Peter ("The Work Horse") is definitely hacking at the evil Bamboo roots
And Emma is...doing something with a croquet mallet

I LOVE your yard. Uncle Hans would be sooo proud. When is he coming back, btw? I still have not seen the finished product in person. Maybe soon.

We left Tuesday of last week and came home on Monday of this week, when we got home our garden was green from side to side with weeds. My sister Rhonda and I spent several hours out there on Tuesday and them we all worked out there most of yesterday trying to get it cleaned up. It is looking much better, but it is a never ending job.
Hello Mrs. P!
I don't know if Uncle Hans will be able to come back down for a bit. :(
Yes-Y'all need to see it in person sometime soon.;)
Amanda-
Unfortunately, weeds are not a bad problem here right now, compliments of a horrid drought. :/ :)
We just mowed our lawn after almost 6 months. (most of which was hot weather) :)
I do hope your weeding is not too discouraging a job. :)

Sarah-
Well when you put it that way, weeding is a blessing. It's amazing how different thing can be, the next county over from us has had flooding all spring long, and they just got 4 in. of rain in 1 hour last Friday.
I hope that you get some rain soon.
Amanda
