Next we headed for the beach...
A place called "Alligator Point" seemed to be on the way home, so we decided to stop for a swim!
Are we there yet?!
Ahh-I love the beach
The ocean spread out before us...
Emma Janey was sooo excited about swimming!
But what's this?!
As we were entering the water, we observed another creature entering the water as well.
A small alligator came waltzing over from the marshy area and slid into the ocean.
The park was not called alligator point for nothing!
We decided against a swim, and instead played on the edge of the water ...
...Fished...
...Collected various shells and sand dollars....
...and horseshoe crabs..?
Down the road was an RV park where we stopped for the night
They had a pool, and Emmy got her swim after all!
Grandmama and Kitty fixing dinner in the 'house on wheels'
Yummy breakfast the next morning
We can always count on Grandmama and Granddaddy to have a great breakfast ready!

Next stop was the Powers' home!
Levi was such fun!
He reminds us so much of William
Lovely Ivey
The girls showed us around the farm
And Mike showed Pete around
Apples to Apples was the game of choice!
"You've gotta pick this one!"
"Oh! Was I not supposed to get into those?"
Good discussions!
Levi sweetly gave us all hugs on our departure :)

In Alabama, we called our Great, Great Aunt Joyce and arranged to meet her for dinner
When we got there, she had arranged for a lot of the rest of the family to come as well.
What a treat!
My precious grandparents
The friend of the little ones - -Grandmama's cousin Stan has an incredible testimony.
He is so willing to share what the Lord has done for him. What an example he is to us!
Aunt Joyce has an amazing testimony as well, and is not ashamed to tell others about the Lord!

Well, that's the end of our trip, y'all.
We had such a wonderful time, and are so incredibly blessed.
Until next time....

That truly was a great trip, wasn't it? A visit to Aunt Joyce is always uplifting, and the Powers family was so kind and hospitable. From the last few posts, the world can see that the Dischers know how to get the most out of every day of a visit!
We were so glad y'all came down, and we had a wonderful time traveling back with you.
Love to you all,
Grandmother
Meant to add: Alligator Point wasn't much of a beach for real "beach" fun, was it? But the RV park made up for it -- a pool all to ourselves!
Love,
Grandmother
Thank you so much for giving them a little bit of beach anyway! They always enjoy traveling with Granddaddy and Grandmama!
We had so much fun and we have terrific memories. Hurry back!
