Within the confines of this little cyber-world, you will encounter mind boggling facts (doubtful), side splitting humor (more doubtful), artifacts of great historical significance (we have a lot of old family photos to bore you with), and maybe you will even come across some genuine German/Canadian stuff

(Got your curiosity up, eh?!?)

Of the nine in this family, I am the Canadian. I am out numbered 9 to 1 by Americans. The odds are still in my favor. I am after all, "The Father." Join me on our wonderful journey.

Christmas Post Part 2

The Many Faces of Uncle Chris...

So, Molly wanted a picture with her husband. A nice little picture in front of the Christmas Tree. The snow was falling outside the window, and she could see her children playing outside in the fluffy whiteness by the hay bales. It was so perfect it could have been a post card! What could have been easier in that setting than to have a picture made with her sweetheart?...

"Hello. My name is Chris and I'm an injured rabbit."

"You liked that one? Check this out!"

"This be my cool look! Whassup, dawg?"

Ah! I think this was more what Molly was thinking of!

Rachel was so good with Paul!!! He loved being with her! :)

Daniel on the other hand.....No, I'm just kidding. This is his "I'm too cool for you" look.

Hmmm.....there's something wrong with this picture. Why are all the boys/men in the kitchen?
(They always hang around when they're hungry, asking to "help")

 Well one is gone....it's progress...

Matthew has a killer smile, when he decides to use it!!!
:-D

The Older Kids' Christmas Dinner Table. Somehow, I was not a part of this momentous picture...

Never happier than with a gun...right, Matt? :)

"Hee hee hee! I'm going to get...let me see.....SAMUEL!!! MWAHAHAHA!!!!"

Gathered for our family events....

We sang some songs...

Read the Scriptures...

....we were quite a large group...

...and then we sang some more songs!
:)
We like songs...

Awwww....! Lil' Clay's first Christmas, and he's only two days old!

Granddaddy loves to hold his little girls!

Daniel and Grace (notice Daniel holding his gift - - those new and warm socks he asked for!)

Sweet cousins.

Andrew doesn't mind pictures - as long as he can give his half smile. Rose on the other hand is only too willing to give the biggest smile she can - even after her eyes start watering from so many huge smiles!

Do ya think that just maybe CJ is thrilled with that gift?!?!?

Muscles is thrilled with the Strawberry Shortcake-wrapped gift that he got, and the rest of us enjoyed a good laugh!

Matthew and Sarah. Sarah is trying to out-do Rosie in the smile department.

Wow. Callie looks like she's about to devour that gift! Or is she roaring??

Whatever she was doing, Grace wasn't too scared to give her  hug. And apparently she's enjoying it as well...

For some reason, unbeknownst to all of us, Samuel was refusing to even look at his present, let alone open it! So, Aunt Katie tried rather unsuccessfully to help...

Awww! What a sweet picture!

CJ and Rachel. Rachel is holding her jewelry box from CJ.
CJ: Why am I having a picture taken with a jewelry box? Oh well - I'll smile anyway!
Rachel: It's so pretty!!! Now I just need a lock and key to keep Sam from getting into it...

Well a picture says a thousand words.....

Markie, looking so pretty!!! :) :) :)

Benny looks almost like he's not sure what Pete's reaction would be...he looks relieved!

Abby's loving that gift! I wonder what it is...?

Me. Really! It is! I'm the one behind Grandmama and Granddaddy.
I had just received my google in book form. :) Everything I would want to know about anything from plumbing to gardening to butchering and back to carpentry right there without any electronics or internet connection!

Ooooh! Matthew's highlight of the day! His reloading kit...!

Oh my!

"Oooh! My baby! My own little baby!"
Not really - but it may just have well been. Rosie loved her bow and arrows from Grandmama and Granddaddy, and she hasn't stopped shooting them since!!

"My turn? I get a present? What is a present?"

"Granddaddy - I really appreciate the papered box!"

"Oh. The paper isn't mine? There's something better inside? What could be better than paper?"

"Hmmm.....may as well have fun with the paper while I can!"

"Oh! A mirror! I can see myself! My favorite thing to look at!"
THANKS, cousin Clay - we'll have fun with this thing together!

"Ok, Ok, folks. Last picture. I've got places to scoot!"

Aunt Katie and Uncle Robert. We are so thankful for all the safety God has given them on the road this year!!!
