As her grandmother fondly calls her!
Just thought I'd post of couple of Emma's latest...
Documented by Kitty, the journalist - can you tell? :)
Emma was asked to give the prayer before supper. At the end of her unusually short prayer (they are often quite extensive) we all perked up our ears a bit when we heard, “…and pwease hewp ouw styoyers. Amen” We all questioned, “Strollers? Did you say strollers, Emma? (we have 2 strollers – one full sized and one for Emma’s baby-dolls)” and Em nodded sagely and went on with her life. I went up to her and asked, “Emma, is there something wrong with our strollers?”
“Yes.” Emma looked up at me with a very serious expression (which is hard to take seriously, since she looks at you with one eye crossed)
“Well, what’s wrong with them?”
“She got a concerned expression on her face, and said sadly, “My styoyer has pyabyems (problems)!” and hung her head a tad little bit and walked away slowly. I don’t know if the body language was real or if she was putting no an act to go with her concern, but it was hilarious! Here's another one...
Emma was having fun building fences and stairs out of Lincoln logs. Mama commented to Markie “She’s using her brain!” Emma heard, and said “Yes. I am using my brain. She can use my brain!” Mama says “Markie can use your brain?!?” Emma- “Yes. Markie can use my brain. I love her!”

What an adorable sweetie-pie! I love it when she takes my face in her little spider-fingers and says, "You my friend. I love you!"
I love you, too, E.J. Discher!
Grandmother
Hey ya'll, I just wanted to stop by and leave a note for Peter.
Sir:
You and I are alike, to some extent - I'm the same way with every single thing you said on your profile. Except that I can't play bluegrass. I love listening to it though. (And I'm not 16, and I'm not 6' yet.) Have a good day y'all, and may the mind of Christ our Savior, live in thee from day to day. (To quote the hymn, if I may.) And God save the South!
