Yes, folks. What you think you see....you are seeing! I am determined to finish my posts about the trip, all 4000,000,000 pictures of them. SO! You are not obligated to continue to enjoy old trip pictures, but for my peace of mind they are going on the blog!!!

She looks so cute and forlorn!
Daddy and Pete, heading out to do some exploring!
"Let's move out!"
One day, all of the girls and ladies went out to do some errands and just to have fun. Gmama treated us to the Rainbow Trout Ranch Restaurant for lunch. Since Daddy's birthday was the day we left on the trip, Gmama got him a wonderful birthday gift: Smoked Trout straight from the ranch! Daddy was thrilled. :)
Daddy, happy as can be.

One evening, the Davenports invited us (and tons of other folks) to their house for dinner and fellowship. We had a grand time.

What's a party without Volley Ball??
Or, a whip either?
Benny and Sam sure enjoyed popping!
We played with Miss Violet Hensley, "Stradivarius of the Ozarks,” a local woman who, despite the fact that she's in her 90's, is still hand-making fiddles! She was a joy - full of life!
Mama, Aunt Katie, Mrs. Davenport, and Aunt Ashley sang a few songs for us. They were beautiful.
This is Leah. Please meet Leah everyone, since (I'm sorry Leah!) I think this may be the first time you've made it on the blog.
Father and son....there's no denying it! :)
Two clowns, hamming it up!!!
Towards the end of the evening, Mr. Davenport joined us on his fiddle, and even sang a few tunes for us. :)

Emma LOVED the animals at the Millers' house!
"Here Meema! Let me show you!"
Aren't they sweet??
Little Brothers always follow in the steps of Big Brothers
Paul was just loved all over!
Emma: "Are we stopping by the store?"
Precious lil' Sam and G'mama
We sure enjoyed the Sunday at the Millers!!! :)
(Notice who is at the stove...)
We're here at the stove for a close-up.
Yep, it's our friendly chef, Uncle Jay!
He's making his famous chili con queso mmm...
Hey, Yall!! Got weeds..I mean...flowers?
Friendly Chef #2
Mama's note: BOY do I look like a bossy older sister!
The Great Hunter on the Great Fly Hunt!
(out in those woods, flies are almost as common as the air you breathe! You can't keep them out...)
Paul enjoys Uncle Robert
Garden Pickers
Sarah's Garden Picture
To quote Uncle Chris:
"Whatcha lookin' at Willis?"
"Whatcha lookin' at Willis?"
He didn't even grace us with a Bob Hope Smirk this time... :'(
Ahhhhh! Those family discussions....
.......While shelling peas!
And of course, we had to do some playing!
The audience enjoying the music and taking pictures. (We caught you in the act G'daddy!)
We sure enjoyed having Gma there with us this time!
My lovely mother.
Sweet girls. When there is visiting to be done, even work becomes fun!
"Samuwl, what are you looking for?"
"Meema, can you help me?"
"Sure. I can help..."
"We have weeds...uh....'flowers!'"
Adorable, silly children. :-D
Here we have the "Bob Hope Smirk" and the "I'm Eating My Clothing" frown
Here we managed to obtain a....slight...(could it be called a...?) smile
The little ones always love to hold Paul!
Savannah and Emma play
That contraption on her head was her "crown" believe it or not

One evening we joined the Millers and Petersons at the "Barn Dance" or "Folk Dance" or whatever you call it that they have every month.
~_~_~_~_~_~
"Join hands and circle left...!"
"Side squares pass through...!"
Becky and Grant enjoy themselves
During breaktime, we try to get our couch potatoes out onto the floor.
After trying for several minutes, RG is having no luck in this department...
Our two couch potatoes...
(They look like they are having a blast...I wonder why they came? :-P)
Luke didn't have any better results than RG did.
So, we left them and had fun.
It was rather suspicous though when snack time came and there were very little snacks left...
After the dance, we went to the Millers for some fun and games, and of course stayed the night. We even did a little bit of canning. :)
"Did you just say 165?"
Benny....dare I say treated us?...with some...dare I call it music?...while we played Rook.
Sarah is fun to play with late at night.....
(HUGE grin....)
We also had two spies among us that night, hidden in the recesses of the loft, ears alert to hear anything that could help them in their misch---oops...cancel that. What you are now seeing are two little boys by the names of Andrew and Joe who were "in bed" with folks playing around downstairs...needless to say, they weren't on the fast track to sleeping....
The next morning, Benny made eggs before the Boys and Men headed out to fish, and us girls visited at home.
Andrew and his catch
I guess he would only smile if his fish smiled with him...
Ben and his day's work
Daniel had turned 15, and it was time to celebrate!
"It's my birthday, I can smirk if I want to..."
CAUGHT!
Thanks to a convienent pile of brush and some friendly Diesel Fuel nearby, we had a bonfire our last evening there. :o) :o) :o) :o) :o) :o)
Well...! I would say the diesel did it's job!
The flames weren't big enough....
"Ooooohhh!!! Ahhhhhh!!!"
RG and his "Youth Fair Redneck" look
Flames...
(duh...)
No, it is NOT snowing .What you are seeing is a rare phenomenon known as........flying ashes!
(Are you impressed??)
Dan the Man and...what appears to be me.
Final moments together before the boys had to leave.
We all said goodbye. :'( :'(
"Goodbye! Farewell! And get off my truck!"
The next morning, we had our church service together at Uncle Jay and Aunt Ashleys.
It was very nice.
Sweet Vannah
Goodbye Pictures
"Everybody smile! One..Two...THREE!!!"
"Bye Vannah!"
What a pretty picture. :)
"Bye Aunt Ashley!!!"
"Bye Yall!!"
We want to say thank you to the Petersons for their wonderful hospitality the night - and even next morning - that we were in need of it! We are so sad we don't have pictures of our wonderful bed and breakfast, complete with turned down sheets and fresh flowers! But we enjoyed it. Thank you!!! :) :) :)
To Uncle Jay and Aunt Ashley: THANK YA'LL for your hospitality and the wonderful visit!!!! :):):) We can't wait to get up there with ya'll!!!!!! :):):) We love you! <3
Well, Folks, I have about 200,000,000,000 pictures of the trip home that could be put up as a final Trip Post, but I think I'll just let it end here (much to my mother's relief! I drive her crazy....:-/ )You all know how we travel, and can certainly let your imaginations create that last post for you! So Adios! I shall see you next trip! (Was that a...groan I heard???) :)

The Dawn Treader is the first ship Narnia has seen in centuries. King Caspian has built it for his first voyage to find the seven lords, good men whom his evil uncle Miraz banished when he usurped the throne. The journey takes Edmund, Lucy, their cousin Eustace, and Caspian to the Eastern Islands, beyond the Silver Sea, toward Aslan's country at the End of the World.
Well, I can't compete with the Dawn Treader (my favorite Narnia book, but I did enjoy the remains of "The Trip that Never Ends". I am just about ready to post my last pictures, too, but you know, you did such a good job, I just may direct readers here! (I don't really know if there are any readers at my blog who don't come here!)
And yes, that was a groan you heard -- since we leave in about 2 weeks for the next trip to "Arkasouri!" Unbelievable! Do those people ever stay home!??
You know, those pictures of Sam and E.J. ("at the Millers" -- Emma in pinafore) look for all the world like 1950's pictures. "Here Dick and Jane are at the farm"! I love it!
Thanks, Kitty. Please come with us on the next trip and take all the pictures!
Love,
Grandmother, who can
never out-post Kitty!
That was enjoyable! We always appreciate your posts no matter how old the pictures are!
I thought it was funny that the Miller boys got hair cuts "mid post"!
Everyone looks great and there were sooo many cute pictures of all the little ones!
Love you!
Aunt Molly
The quote isn't "What you lookin at Willis" It is " WHat you talkin about Willis"
Catfish
I thought that was my quote. Of course I only get blamed for things I don't do. Go figure.
Wonderful, wonderful pictures! What is so great is that y'all (or at leasat some of y'all) will be back here in only a couple of weeks. It's like you were hardly even gone!
Love,
Aunt Katie
What a wonderful trip. Emma and Sam are so cute together. I love the captions. The picture of Vannah is adorable, too. I know you can't wait to get up there for good. I pray things will work out that you can.
Bless you all,
Mrs. P
Catfish, I do remember you doing that quote quite often, years ago. But, that's the price you pay when you MOVE FAR, FAR AWAY!!!!!!! People start to forget you.
:(
Hilarious!
"What's a party without Volley Ball??" Here here!
Great post.
Well...um...thanks so much, Mr. Amonymous, for that...interesting qupte. It was truly...inspiring (or something.)
Mama, I love the one of Sam and Emma too - and you do not have to "outpost" anybody ;)
Molly, that WAS funny about the haircuts! Glad you enjoyed a virtual visit to "Arkasouri"!
Hey, Catfish. Sorry about misquoting the famous Gary Coleman. I guess you AND Uncle Chris will go down in history for that quip! The kids have probably heard Uncle Chris say it more, so you'll have to make up for lost time when you're with them - or I guess you could maybe speak something even more meaningful!
So glad, Katie, that you like the pics. Can't wait to see you!
Thanks, Tina, for the comment. It will be very bittersweet when the moving day does come!
Hi, there, Johann. We have seen you over on RG's blog. Thanks for commenting. Come by anytime!
Mrs. Discher/Beth
Kitty, Believe me, I understand! My blog is stuck in Nepal and I still wanted to post my other 500,000,000,000 from my trip. Now I have 500,000,000,000 more to share since then. Ah, if only I had the energy to blog:) I enjoyed your post, no wonder my banjo cowboy is loving it up there. Thanks for sharing, Mrs. Stokesies (looking forward to the cool front.)
