Every now and then, a member of the Discher Family, or a friend, will pick up our camera with the intention of enjoying some nice highlights from the lives of our household, or perhaps a funny moment. Almost unfailingly however, (unless the camera has been relieved of it's pictures within the last two or three hours) they find the majority of the photos to be of a quite different and unexpected nature. Please observe...
You may find:
FACES
Smiling Faces...
Cutie!
(Just to let everyone know - she was into Mama's make-up and those are NOT black eyes!!)
Another Cutie! :o)
My handsome bro...
Smiling for sure!!
Desturbing Faces...
Um...yep...
I'm not sure what was the deal with this one....??
"YOU'RE NOT PUTTING THAT ON THE BLOG ARE YOU??? I LOOK LIKE AN IDIOT!!!"
Sorry-yep, I did. :o)
"Dude...it's like...fire...."
Mr. Finger must have stopped by for a visit.
Mary, my dear...never mind...
(I think I'm going to be dead after this post. If I am never heard from again, Emma can have my big Pollywog Frog stuffed frog, and RG can have my CSA throw. Peter, you can have Friday, and Sarah you can have my keychain that says "If You Don't LikeMy Driving Then Get Off The Sidewalk")
Words can't even describe....
Pssssst! What is it???
Sarah and her...fan of money???
Someone just told a really cheezy joke, and Grace is trying not to show it.
Markie was less successful.
WHY would THAT be on a family camera???
Nasty apple maybe??
On the other hand, you may find:
Beauty and Elegance
Beauty
and elegance
Love
Now that is a picture worthy to be on the Discher Family Camera!
Or you may find evidences that the refined arts are in practice at the Discher Household...
The Fine Arts
Of taming hair...
Sarah's artistic talents at work again
"THE PETER AND SARAH COMEDY SHOW" is always fun to watch and listen to! And it's
all ad-libbed!!!!
(Yes, folks, it's haircut time again!)
Teensy-weensy braids
Poor Sarah has no one to help fix her hair in elegant ways. So, she's teaching herself.
Um...a failed experiment???
Of Work...
After this, Gdaddy had some happy happy cows.
Of Athletics...
A "Hello" from across the lense
"I Believe I can fly!!!"
Of Fun and Games...
Uncle Jay and Gmama playing with dolls...
Thanks to them, he is now comfortable!
Read.
My parents taught me to be obedient. :o)
Two cuties and....a giant duck???
Grace having a hay fight.
My newest and trustiest steed. Hear him roar!!!
Peter is a little bit too into his game...
Or perhaps that would be Grace who needs to realize it's just a game!
Yep. You guessed it. This picture was doncumentation that....I lost.
Sarah won--notice she also has taken my last remaining dollar!!
Not for long! Now I'm into the game!!!
MWAHAHAHAHA!!!
Peter and I sit down to read a bedtime story.
So you may find: Faces, Beauty and Elegance, Love, Fine Arts.
Or, on a really normal average day, 50% or more may be.....these....
Um??? Hello??? This Is A Family Camera for Making Memories On...Hello? What Are You Doing Here?? Um..Excuse Me?? Um...
That was photo worthy!
(Dripping sarcasm....)
Grace's beautiful handiwork!!
(NO sarcasm!!!)
Spirit o' '76!
1 cent!!! Whatever happened to that????
Pretty!
Beauty!
Kitty's type of pasture!!!
Now that is a good thing to have on the camera. :o)
Ummm......I think....never mind.
I think it's telling me to "GO to bed!"
Ghostly Fiddles In the Night??
A pair of Amanda's famous socks!
A close-up of someone's shirt. Now there's an intelligent photo for you!
Odd as it looks...Sarah did have a reason for this....why it's on the camera? I have no idea....
G'bye for now folks!!! Don't ever hesitate to explore our camera! You never know what you'll find!!!!!

Kitty, I LOVED this post. I rolled at the pic of you with that lighter and the one of you sitting on that creature. Loved the captions!! and all the rest of the pics as well. You don't ever know what you'll find on the camera or random texts that are meant for someone else, ha ha. Thanks for starting my day off just right:)
Love you,
Mrs. P
Oh gracious! That was the most, um, interesting compilation of pictures I've ever seen! It was also a very enjoyable post. The crazy menagerie of odds and ends pictures left on your camera made for a very humorous and pleasant viewing.
Love,
Aunt Katie
Hehe! Kitty, this post is awesome! Loved it. There's nothing like a bit of randomness... :-D
Thanks for posting these pictures, Kitty! As for that one of Mary, bless her heart! Or actually it's more like, bless your heart. :) I'm sure that you're running away and ducking on account of that one!
Your captions are so funny!
It was so good to see y'all at the conference. Tell your Mama that we are praying for her and the baby!
Love y'all!
~Mallory~
Nice post!
Hey, did you ever find anything in that Behemoth video on the lama? I stared at all that static until I got a headache and then quit. LOL
Susan
Very cute post!! I know Mary WILL KILL you or REPAY you for that picture!
They were all so good and funny. I, as well, love your commentary!
Love,
Aunt Molly
Hi, Susan! Well, we never did find anything either. we looked at different products, etc that were shown (can you say "desperate"?) and finally concluded that we have better things to do with our time :)
Thanks for posting!
Beth
--who loves your witty shirt sayings!
Hello!
I just wanted to say how nice it was to meet you all (or at least some of you) at the Christians at the Crossroads conference! I am certainly enjoying reading your blog! Hope you all are doing well!
God Bless,
Lauren
Kitty got so mesmorized watching that flame that, I'll tell ya'll later.
At one session I almost lost my ear to Sarah's scissors, but she does a fairly good job. Of course, Now that I've posted this I'll probably end up bald next time, or with the worst looking haircut anyone ever set eyes on.
The reason I lost the Monopoly game was because I was held at finger point by the worst bandit there ever was, Grace. And after taking all my money (not to mention the properties) she still didn't win. As ya'll can see, I'm there with my Monopoly money, and in the next picture, Grace has it. sniff sniff.:) I mean ):
Sorry Kitty, your just not as good as Grace.
And what could be more Beautiful than the Third National Flag of the Confederacy?
I loved all the pictures (Dischers and Stricklens always seem to take great pictures!) and funny commentary, but I think my favorite one is the hay picture. All the big kids piled into the truck to go help Granddaddy load up hay. What a blessing to have willing helpers!
It was a beautiful Florida day, just the right temperature, with a gentle breeze, and the children had fun while working hard. Making memories . . .
Lauren,
It was very nice to meet you too! So glad you are enjoying the blog. You have a beautiful blog as well. Hope to see you again sometime!
The Dischers
Beth...
I think our camera gets hijacked the way your camera does!!! I was just looking at the pictures that have been put on the computer so far this year - and MOST of them are just random pics of odd things. As for the close up of the shirt - our oldest daughter takes pictures like (mostly on my cell phone) to use as 'wall paper' for something else.
I can guarantee that I am never, ever bored at what I may find on our camera!
Thanks for the birthday wishes -
Camille
PS - I love the ASAP sign! That is fantastic!! (From the northern gal, raised in the south, and now living in the Pacific Northwest!)
hahahahahahahaha...great post. you have an amazing talent for blogging, Kitty!!! (yes and the rest of y'all :P) wow! way too funny =)
i hafta say my dad's camera...that is...before he deletes 'em all...is filled with all sorts of random shots of life. isn't that what a camera's for?
Loved seeing Grace and Sarah out here in Arkie...can't till next time!!
