Within the confines of this little cyber-world, you will encounter mind boggling facts (doubtful), side splitting humor (more doubtful), artifacts of great historical significance (we have a lot of old family photos to bore you with), and maybe you will even come across some genuine German/Canadian stuff

(Got your curiosity up, eh?!?)

Of the nine in this family, I am the Canadian. I am out numbered 9 to 1 by Americans. The odds are still in my favor. I am after all, "The Father." Join me on our wonderful journey.

Our Christmas Season...A Gingerbread House Party!

STEP 1: BAKING THE COMPONENTS

What could these be? Any guesses ?
STEP 2: CONSTRUCTION
It's a lot harder than it looks! Let's just say we used a LOT of Royal Icing "Mortar"
(I think all that hard work is making Pete hungry!)

"Hmm...maybe I won't become a contractor after all"

"Hey! You wanted me to pick up my room - I went ahead and picked up the whole house!"

STEP 3: LAYING OUT THE GOODSAll ready for our guests- the ladies of the church
STEP 4: DECORATING!!!!!
The concentration begins
This is serious stuff

Or not...
"Are you making fun of my snowman?"

"Here, Frosty...I'll make a place for you"

I think Emma ate more than she contributed

You're right...this was posed

The little elves decorate for Grandmama
More really is better!

The Waldman ladies show dad he's not the only one who can do construction work!

Details, details

These girls have a plan and they're sticking to it.

"We're having fun...Oh Yeah!"
STEP 5: TABLE "ART"

Emma's "art"

"Happy RamaHanaKwansmas!"

STEP 6: THE FINISHED PRODUCTS

The Waldman's... decorated with love

Grandmama's house...lovingly created by her own little elves
Our house

Notice Frosty makes a friend! (one with a BIG mouth)

The Stricklen girls' house
Note the palm trees!
(in the snow?)

Amanda and Terrie's house
Hmm....fire at Amanda's house???
(could it be coincidence?)

STEP 7: PICTURES!!
(of course!)

STEP 8: RELAX

It was a good day

That was so much fun! And I sure appreciated having my own little team of elves! They sure are creative, and you are right -- their motto is "more is better!!"

Thanks for hosting a wonderful morning of fun and ladies' fellowship.

Looks like lots of fun!
I love the RamaHanaKwansmas. The sad note from santa made me laugh too. What senses of humor you have! :)

You are welcome, Grandmama! Glad you could do it during your pre-wheelchair days:)

Thanks for the sweet comment, Esther! We enjoyed looking at your family's blog as well.
