"The Father" decided to have a contest and give away a "Country Cousins" CD. Most of you know that our kids and their cousins have formed a bluegrass band and finally made their first CD!
The folks over at oldpaths.com are selling it and hopefully it will soon be up for sale on Vision Forum's new site behemoth.com !
The busy season for the kids is upon us - the "Fall Festivals" have begun! In fact they have 2 performances today!
Well, since this is "The Father's" idea, he chose the game. Here it is - the first person to correctly identify the item pictured below will win! Just post your answers. Let the game begin!

Well, I know I am not eligible, according to the Standards and Practices Rules of Contests, since I am the "Grandmother", but I will play along anyway!
Hmmm . . . is the information in the first frame a hint? Is it actually 12" square? It looks like it is made of nice wood. OH!! I think I have an idea!! I will keep it to myself until someone else has broken the code!
Love,
Grandmother
Even though, by the Grace of God, and the kindness of the entire Discher family, we are ineligible (we have a wonderful copy of the CD that we have almost worn out already ; ) Patrick would like to hazard a guess. He thinks it could be some sort of podeum for signing petitions. He also would like plans!! It is a beautiful piece of craftsmanship.
The Pollock family thinks it could be a "quartet podium". Whatever it is, it's a nice piece of woodwork.
It is the Jefferson reading desk or book stand.
I think it is a wooden box with movable parts. LOL JK
Is it some sort of music stand?
Congrats on the CD and I hope that your performances went well.
Amanda
It looks like the ultimate portable table, but I think valiant for truth probably has it right!
Katie
P.S. If it is the ultimate portable table, please send me my CD, as ours is getting worn!
Hey, Miller Family, how about if I deliver one personally? Just hold on to the fall colors for me.
Grandmother
AND THE WINNER IS...
Congratulations to Valiant for Truth for his astute observation. We will be sending your CD out promptly!
Thanks everyone for playing along!

Thanks, Amanda. The kids are very proud of the CD and the performances went great, praise the Lord!
"a box with movable parts"...that was funny! I guess it WOULD make a great music stand for a quartet!
