One of our favorite things to do this time of year is to pick blackberries in Grandmama and Grandaddy Frodge's "Enchanted Forest", as the children have named one particularly lush area of the woods.
We liked how this picture turned out.
"Are you ready to go?" ... waiting for the others to come out
Ah... here they are. One of God's blessings!

Ummmm.. Those look good!
Do you have a problem with Poison Ivy
Down there? That is a big problem here, I have to be very careful when I go berry picking so that I don't get it.:( Oh well.
The enchanted forest looks as enchanted as I was told, but I think it has more to do with those enchanting people who go and visit it. It may well be because of them that the fruit is so blessed!
Wish I were there to enjoy it with you!
Julia~Yeah. They are a pain to pick, but very rewarding. ;)
Amanda~ There is some poison ivy, but not much and it is not everywhere. In the "Enchanted Forest" there is not any. :)
Uncle Happy~ We never did take you out there, did we? :( Ah! What you missed. :) We wish you were here to enjoy it too! There is a letter in the mail for you and Uncle Erwin. :) Love ya!
(~Sarah~)
Added to the end of that. lol
