Let the feasting begin!
“Some hae meat and canna eat,
And some wad eat that want it,
But we hae meat and we can eat,
And sae the Lord be thankit.”
And some wad eat that want it,

And sae the Lord be thankit.”
Robert Burns

Not Thanksgiving, but nice anyways!
For those of you who wish to know what they are doing, not many I'm sure, they are making cootie catchers.
Psalm 100
Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands.
Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.
Know
ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we
ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.
I sincerely hope all of y'all had a beautiful, blessed Thanksgiving! We certainly did!
In Christ,
Markie

Looks like you had a wonderful time! Now who wouldn't believe you, Markie?! You are a very credible source!
The b/w picture of everyone at the table is just beautiful. All the food looks just wonderfully appetizing!!
The pie table is oh so pretty!
So glad you had a blessed Thanksgiving :)
Love you!
Aunt Molly
Wonderful post, Markie! It so nicely represents a wonderful day -- and visit! It was so funny making a cootie catcher for Paul -- he had the whole deal down, except that he couldn't make it work back and forth! But he loved using it for a puppet, biting people! Thank you, Markie. That was a fun post.
Love,
Grandmother
Oh, Markie! What a lovely post of a lovely Thanksgiving gathering! It was like actually being there. All the food looked delicious! (Let me tell you a secret... I love pie too!!) ;) I miss your smiling face, thanks for taking those "normal" pictures of yourself. :D It looked like such a fun day!
I hope to see you soon!
Love,
Sadie
Sweet family! Is that a saying by Robert Burns? I wonder because our Scottish Dance teacher said it the other day when we had them over an it is an old Scottish saying that she grew up with ! LOL! I just printed it off the other day!
Looks like you all had a lovely time! Blessings, Mrs. A
Looks great! We had collard greens for Thanksgiving dinner as well. Turns out that the Brabos (whom we had Thanksgiving with) had a native Floridian working with them on the farm this year. He brought the greens for the dinner.

p.s. I thought I'd mention that when I try to see "The Promised Land, Eh?" it brings up a page saying, "The website you were trying to reach is temporarily unavailable. Please check back soon. If you are this website, please log in for additional information or contact us as soon as possible."
What a delight to get a glimpse of you all celebrating God's goodness! Your mom left a comment on our blog so I thought I would pop over and see what was happening with y'all. Glad I did! Great job! Next time we visit MO we want pie! How fun that Your mom and I celebrated our 26th birthday in the same month! Lol! The Lord continue to bless you! ♥
Thank you Aunt Molly! I had just figured out how to switch to black and white, so we have quite a few pictures like that:) Love and miss you!<3
