The Lord blessed us with a wonderful Thanksgiving! Grandmama and Granddaddy came up a couple days beforehand to help prepare and celebrate the wonderful day! We had such a pleasant time! Here are some pictures for those of y'all who don't believe me;)

 While Kitty prepares the mashed potatoes.  The lesser of the two turkeys. ;) He was there for decoration mainly. The Waldman boys did a great job of raising the other one big enough to feed the whole family!:)  The finished product of greens. Isn't it funny how two laundry baskets full of fresh greens will shrink into two bowl fulls??  Grace's absolutely heavenly rolls! (PS. That's homemade butter in the background as well;) )  Mama's Sweet Potato Casserole made with our sweet potatoes that we grew! |

Wonderful post, Markie! It so nicely represents a wonderful day -- and visit! It was so funny making a cootie catcher for Paul -- he had the whole deal down, except that he couldn't make it work back and forth! But he loved using it for a puppet, biting people! Thank you, Markie. That was a fun post.

Oh, Markie! What a lovely post of a lovely Thanksgiving gathering! It was like actually being there. All the food looked delicious! (Let me tell you a secret... I love pie too!!) ;) I miss your smiling face, thanks for taking those "normal" pictures of yourself. :D It looked like such a fun day!

Sweet family! Is that a saying by Robert Burns? I wonder because our Scottish Dance teacher said it the other day when we had them over an it is an old Scottish saying that she grew up with ! LOL! I just printed it off the other day!

Looks great! We had collard greens for Thanksgiving dinner as well. Turns out that the Brabos (whom we had Thanksgiving with) had a native Floridian working with them on the farm this year. He brought the greens for the dinner.

What a delight to get a glimpse of you all celebrating God's goodness! Your mom left a comment on our blog so I thought I would pop over and see what was happening with y'all. Glad I did! Great job!
