Within the confines of this little cyber-world, you will encounter mind boggling facts (doubtful), side splitting humor (more doubtful), artifacts of great historical significance (we have a lot of old family photos to bore you with), and maybe you will even come across some genuine German/Canadian stuff

(Got your curiosity up, eh?!?)

Of the nine in this family, I am the Canadian. I am out numbered 9 to 1 by Americans. The odds are still in my favor. I am after all, "The Father." Join me on our wonderful journey.

In which.. The Dischers go to Florida, Fall colours, and a camp fire

To our extended family
Here is a beautiful saying I found online:
"Our family is a circle of love and strength.
With every birth and every union, the circle grows.
Every joy shared adds more love.
Every crisis faced together makes the circle stronger.
"
I have been very blessed to have such a magnificent personal and extended family!
I am so thankful for each and every one of you, and I pray that one day we will all be together
again as we were once, long ago!:)

To our friends...........
Hi!
Yes, I'm back with another long excerpt from the Discher family's diary. :)

We went to Florida in October!:) We stayed with Grandmama and Granddaddy, partied with the Stricklens ( every night), and one night a lot of our friends  came out!! It was so fun!!!!!!!:):):):)

I can't tell you which pictures are from Sunday after Church, or from Friday night at the party. You will have to figure that out yourself....:) Have fun, and enjoy the pictures!

A pony. (we had him before we left ;) )
And Tomatoes galore
The Lord blessed us with around 300 lbs of tomatoes from the 25 plants that produced this year.
Mama and I were busy, busy, busy canning tomatoes in all shapes, forms, and sizes. Rose sweetly
watched the little kids!!:)<3

Here are some pictures of the Fall colours this year:)

He is such a little gentleman! Recently, I was carrying my mandolin to the car, and he stops me, takes the mandolin from my hand, walks out the building, all the way to the car carrying an instrument twice as tall as him!:)<3 I love my little brother!

Even though it  looks like a big city, or forest fire, it's not. Just the sun setting on beautiful Ozark Mountains.

Now that I have taken you with me from Florida, to Georgia, to Missouri, and finally to our front door, I will close. But first, o' best beloved, I will say this

"May there always be work for your hands to do.
May your purse always hold a coin or two.
May the sun always shine upon your window pane.
May a rainbow be certain to follow each rain.
May the hand of a friend always be near to you and
May God fill your heart with gladness to cheer you."
