Eddie has our new blog up and running. It needs tweaking but he has posted our first post! I think the new blog looks great!

Before we moved to Missouri, people would ask us why were we leaving Florida of all places - the land of sunshine - and moving to Missouri? (or" misery"- as they would often say)
There were many reasons for moving and when we would "extol the virtues of Missouri" we were often teased about MO being "The Promised Land".
Anyone who has been here can attest to the fact that it is indeed not the promised land (right, Michael?).
While we do love it and enjoy the many benefits to living here, we can honestly say that the only reason we moved was the fact that this is where the Lord wants us, so I guess in that respect, it is indeed...

Yes, of course we do think Florida is the true Promised Land where we were all raised - we are a little (or a lot) prejudiced! Can you blame us? You once agreed ;)

Aw...that's a wonderful verse, Peter! Missouri is pretty great! We do love it and all the great people God has brought into our lives here!
Molly, of course those wonderful days gone by and the precious family and friends are what we miss the most about Florida.
