Within the confines of this little cyber-world, you will encounter mind boggling facts (doubtful), side splitting humor (more doubtful), artifacts of great historical significance (we have a lot of old family photos to bore you with), and maybe you will even come across some genuine German/Canadian stuff

(Got your curiosity up, eh?!?)

Of the nine in this family, I am the Canadian. I am out numbered 9 to 1 by Americans. The odds are still in my favor. I am after all, "The Father." Join me on our wonderful journey.

Sweet...

FRIENDS
How precious it was to see the wonderful Binzel family again! We have known them for over 20 years. They are missionaries to Honduras. Here Carol Binzel gets to know little Paul a little while she and his mama catch up!

Here is my friend Renee Waldman. Renee was so gracoius to fix us frozen meals before the baby came! In fact, we pulled their delicious home-grown, smoked chicken out the day I was in labor! The kids were so happy to have a good meal that night! - They saved some for me:)
Here's Grandma Sue with little Paul. She's really the Stricklen's grandma, but our kids have laid claim to her! She came over to meet Paul just hours after he was born!
My friend Le Bowen sweetly sent her daughter, Liz, over with a super meal. It included venison. The question is: which of their girls got the deer?
Our friends, the Whiddons, from Georgia sweetly surprised us with this package for baby Paul. It looks like he needs a little help opening it!
Big sister Emma to the rescue!
Here are some of the Whidden girls with some of our girls

We are so thankful for all our friends and family!
ENCOURAGEMENT

Our family has been "tested" in the last month or so. Work has been extremely slow (as is the case for so many right now). We are starting a new business (soon to be announced here!), but until that gets up and running, its been tight. I was really discouraged a couple of days ago and opened the Word up to read. My Bible flap just "happened" to be open to Isa. chapter 25. What an encouraging chapter for God's people! He is so faithful. Thank you, sweet Lord!

25:1 O LORD, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for
thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.

25:4 For thou hast been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his
distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the
terrible ones is as a storm against the wall.

25:8 He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears
from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all
the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it.

25:9 And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for
him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be
glad and rejoice in his salvation.

JUST PLAIN SWEET!
REAL tears....Awww

Beautiful Scripture, Beth. I really appreciated that. We are praying for your business ~ Things are slow for us as well.
Isn't it great to be loved by so many. What nice pictures with friends.
Paul is so precious! He gets cuter by the day.

Love you!
Molly

I agree, tender words from God to soothe a troubled heart.

The tear was so cute, even though I'm sure he didn't think so!

Love,
Katie

You were blessed by so many. That's wonderful. It makes me want to be more of a blessing to others.

Yes, we know what slow business is all about. We have rentals and several of them are unable to pay. This of course causes a chain reaction. We also have another home business (selling books online) that we're really starting to work hard. That's going pretty well.

I trust everything falls into place for you all. God is mindful of our circumstances.
