Within the confines of this little cyber-world, you will encounter mind boggling facts (doubtful), side splitting humor (more doubtful), artifacts of great historical significance (we have a lot of old family photos to bore you with), and maybe you will even come across some genuine German/Canadian stuff

(Got your curiosity up, eh?!?)

Of the nine in this family, I am the Canadian. I am out numbered 9 to 1 by Americans. The odds are still in my favor. I am after all, "The Father." Join me on our wonderful journey.

On Saturday, Uncle Jason (Mama's brother) and his little girl, Savannah, came from Orlando to visit. (Aunt Ashley was in Texas for a little while)

After church on Sunday, we all had lunch togather and had a very pleasant time visiting.

Three of the four babies born into our family this year and last.

William, Savannah, and Emma Jane (Samuel is the one that is absent)

The sweet hostess Emma Jane and I spent some time outside together.

What a ham! :)

Uncle Jay describing something

What a cutie!

That evening, everyone except Kitty, Gracie and I went over to the Franklin's house.

Mr. Franklin had generously offered for us to "Harvest" some cuttings from their landscaping before they moved. Emily and Rosie giggle while watching a movie.
Daddy cuts a Sago Palm
As does Mr. Franklin

Wednesday, the Stricklen, Discher, and Pollock ladies all went Thrft Shopping!
Markie and Abby had their own private table.
Sweet fellowship
Gracie got a bit hungry while waiting for the food. :)
All the older girls (How did Emma get in both pictures?)

We stopped for lunch at Steak N Shake

We were all given complimentary hats. :)

We anjoyed trying on things we would never buy.

(Come on, about the most useless thing that you could buy in Florida, is a fur coat!) :)

Afterwards, we went to the Stokes' to say hi to Mrs. Stokes and Olivia who were not able to join us. We also raided Mrs. Stokes' fridge for dinner.

Folks visit Mrs. Stokes in the "sick" room. :)

Mrs. Stokes is in excellent humor.
