Within the confines of this little cyber-world, you will encounter mind boggling facts (doubtful), side splitting humor (more doubtful), artifacts of great historical significance (we have a lot of old family photos to bore you with), and maybe you will even come across some genuine German/Canadian stuff

(Got your curiosity up, eh?!?)

Of the nine in this family, I am the Canadian. I am out numbered 9 to 1 by Americans. The odds are still in my favor. I am after all, "The Father." Join me on our wonderful journey.

A Very Important Lesson

Hello friends!

It has been a bit since we last posted, and we have alot to post! Let me tell you a sad story... Once upon a time, a girl had a lot to post on her family's blog. She had attained permission to upload pictures and put them on the blog. She got all her housework done, fed the baby, and sat down to download the pictures from the camera...But... Alas! She had waited in anticipation, only to find that her parents had taken the camera with them on their date! Oh! The sorrow.

So, instead of putting pictures up of what we have been doing, I will instead thrill Kitty by posting something that she has been dying to put on here for a long time. :D She took the pictures about a month ago with high hopes of them "making the blog", but I always had too many things to put up. Now, her dream comes true! ...Here goes... :) What is a letter of perfection? (Answer) T!Take 6 tea bags and place them carefully in a 1/2 gallon pitcher.

Boil some water, and pour it over the tea bags.
After a decent amount of time has passes, take the tea bags out and squeeze them.Oh! And don't forget to leave the soggy tea bags sitting on the counter!
They make lovely decorations once mold has formed. :)
Sprinkle 1/2 a cup of sugar into it.

Fill it the rest of the way with cool water.

"cool ...water... clear ...water... water"

Scoop some ice into a large glass

And pour some of the sacred liquid over the ice!

Ahh! The result is indeed perfection!

You are right, T is the letter of perfection! Ahhh, the glorious, clear, sweet, amber liquid moveth itself aright in my glass as I speak! Just substitute healthful, delicious agave nectar for white death refined sugar, and true perfection!

But wait! Did I notice the Yankee Lipton bags?? I thought Luzianne was the nectar of choice in the Sunny South, Eh?

BTW, I haven't posted since Callie's party, either, but composing in my mind as we speak . . .

Oh, I meant to add -- thank God for Aunt Molly's foresight in providing us with another perfection -- clear, cold professional ice-maker ice! No self-respecting tea is complete without it!
