The above link is to the website explaining parts of Senate Bill S 510 Food Safety Modernization Act. This bill will be extremely harmful to all Americans. It is a bill that is very much in play at this time; in other words, this is not an old rumor still flying around the Internet. We are quickly, exponentially coming to a time when the government will control every single aspect of our lives (or they will try to -- I know a family that will die first!)

Please act now and call your Senators. It is being voted on today. This would impact food prices, small family farms, farmers markets etc. It would criminalize raw dairy and heirloom seed-saving on a national level. It would all but ensure the demise of small, local farmers and thereby hand a government-protected monopoly to the large industrial farmers who use GMO, chemicals, pesticides, and cruel and inhumane practices throughout their factory animal farms.

It would destroy small dairy farmers and devastate family food producers. And while its doing all this, it will also give the FDA - the most dangerous federal agency in the history of our nation -the power to regulate what you grow, what you harvest, what seeds you save and what paperwork you must file in order to comply with Big Brother's food schemes. It would give the FDA the right to conduct surprise inspections of your greenhouse, to seize your plants, and to arrest you as a common criminal merely for milking your cow and offering fresh milk for sale to a neighbor.

Please take the time to call your Senators. Let them know that the people they are representing are NOT IN FAVOR of Senate Bill S 510.
