Yes, yes, we are indeed back to blogging.
I have the best intentions of 'catching up' our blog....We'll see how that goes. :)
I'll begin with our trip to Florida in July.
What a wonderful time we had visiting our home State!
As we passed each familiar landmark, it began to feel as if we had never left.
We were passing the gas station and turning into Alturas.. The Miller's general store flashed by...Ah-we passed the Stricklen's...Oh how familiar those orange groves are! Finally we saw the white fence, lining the driveway going down through the grapefruit grove. As we drove down Grandmama and Granddaddy's driveway, as we have thousands of times, I could almost imagine that we had never left. All the moving, our home in Missouri, everything had just been a dream..We really still lived in the little green house by the side of the road...
But no, it was not so, and I would not necessarily wish it to be.
As we turned the corner and parked, there Margaret and CJ were, running barefoot out to meet us! Before we had even stopped, Rosie and Emma were screaming out the window "MARGARET!!! CJ!!! HI!!! WE'RE HERE!!!" and of course their cries were returned. What a joyful reunion it was! <3
Oh how we miss our sweet family here when we are separated!!
Never were brothers-in-law such good friends :)
There was lots and lots of catching up to do!!
Laughter permeated the house that night
Sweet sisters reunited
We barely knew baby Charlie!
We were there for his birth, but how he had changed in 3 months
The younger ones hid away in another room, and shared all their recent adventures.
You could not separate these cousins during our visit :)
The men's corner
Awww <3
The girls stayed the night and we had a grand time! :)
We (Of course) stayed with Grandmama and Granddaddy while we were there.
We all love Grandmama's house-it is so very Southern.
There is nothing like Southern Hospitality. <3
Grandmama and Paul enjoying their time together
We just love visiting with our family...?
The next evening we rounded up the whole family(Amanda is considered a cousin, after all) ;)
and went out to Sonny's-our favorite BBQ restaurant.
We can't visit Florida without visiting Sonny's!
The Stokes sweetly met us there and we had some fun fellowship!
(I don't know why we don't have a picture of the adults at Sonny's but...)
That's all?!
Yep!
But....
Coming soon- to a computer near you

And what a reunion it was! It brought tears to my eyes reading and looking at the pictures :) We were SOOOO glad to see everyone! I am so grateful you all made the trip. Cute pics of everyone! Love the last one of "Charlie"??? That's really mean, but I'll forgive you! I know it's so weird here without you, but I know you are where you believe God has sent you, and that is so important and absolutely mandatory :) Love everyone BUNCHES!!! Aunt Molly
BTW - Who authored this blog post - I can't tell?
The pictures brought tears to my eyes as well. I loved the one of Granddaddy and Markie - also the one of Grandmama and Paul and Paul with the bubbles and the one of good ole' Uncle Chris (AKA "The Yellow Peril"). Oh! I just loved them all!
