I would like to put in a plug for my very talented cousin, Amy Boghos, Musician Extraordinaire. She and her (also talented) husband have developed a unique business which offers royalty free music that is written and recorded exclusively by them.

As I understand it, this is how it works. In order to use recorded music for projects (even projects that are not for profit are restricted legally) a person has 2 choices.

Record his own music using songs that are original compositions or in the public domain.
Use another artist's recording of a song and pay that artist royalties everytime he makes money with the project.

Since Amy and John have composed AND recorded thier own songs, they are selling the rights to use their songs for a one time reasonable fee! Check it out. They have some nice pieces!
